I just got 20 ART a few days ago and it also needed slightly different values, but seems good after Dock calibration. Atleast that's what I gather.Ģ4, 35 and 50 ART's all work great after tuning with the dock and I remember all needed different values for focus zones. After getting the dock I figured it was because it needed different tune for different focus distances, and it just felt inconsistent. For long I struggled with 50 ART focus "consistency" and I kept fiddling with the AF Fine Tune in camera, never seemed to nail it.

The problem with the in body adjustment is that its ONE setting for a prime, on a prime the usb doc gives you 4 settings for 4 different distances and 16 for zooms. I have had the 35A, 50A, 18-35A, 50-100A and the 150-600C and used the usb doc on all of them. I'm not happy with especially the 35mm art AF consistency. One body (canon 5ds) I'm just wondering if there are any benefits using the dock to calibrate rather than the in camera AF micro-adjustments. I have the 35art, 50art and am getting the 85art.
